At iwell, we believe in accelerating Europe’s energy transition. As a market leader, we set the pace with our intelligent batteries, preventing congestion on the electricity grid. We collect vast amounts of data about our batteries, but the real challenge lies in harnessing this data intelligently and sustainably. To tackle this challenge, we are seeking an Asset Analyst who knows their way around data, has some Python experience and is not afraid to work independently. You will play a crucial role in helping iwell dive into the root cause of issues, monitor our batteries and contribute in showing the added value of our batteries.


At iwell, you will be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to making a sustainable impact on Europe’s electricity grid. Your contributions will:

  • Optimise battery strategy by using its setting in the most optimal way, contributing to advancing Europe’s energy transition.

  • Analyse the root cause of issues, while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

  • Check the performance of our assets.

  • Help us in ways we could not have imagined without you!

What you'll be doing

  • Provide data, analyses and reports on our assets to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Optimise the configuration of our batteries, because you understand the data behind the batteries.

  • Be the know-it-all when it comes to anything data, providing an endpoint for both internal and external data analysis requests.

  • Contribute to large-scale analysis of our battery systems, and look for improvements.

  • Identify root causes of failures and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions.

  • Collaborate with other iwell teams to enhance the performance of our energy systems through data-driven insights.

Job requirements

What you'll bring

  • Experience with Python, R, or other data related languages, and willing to learn our stack (Python, SQL).

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with continuous change.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of data analysis tasks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for getting to know the data through and through.

  • Eager to learn new things!
