The Role
As a First line support engineer, you are ready to support our customers and our field engineers working at customer sites. You proactively monitor and manage the systems and are always looking for ways to do this as effectively as possible. Our systems are integral to our customers' energy operations. In this role, you will be part of the Customer Operations team, providing initial support for our battery systems and addressing customer inquiries and issues. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and work alongside electrotechnical engineers, asset managers, and the project realisation team on new battery installations. Your work ensures that our customers experience minimal disruptions and optimal performance from their battery systems. To be successful in this role, we are looking for a Dutch speaking candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Remotely monitoring and fixing of the battery systems and troubleshooting as needed via our own myiwell cloud platform.
Supporting battery system commissioning in defining and checking all settings, primarily remotely and occasionally on-site.
Suggesting improvements for the monitoring processes and tooling
Collaborating with the software support engineers and field engineers for daily monitoring and troubleshooting of batteries.
Documenting lessons learned in our technical knowledge base.
This is a day-shift job, although periodically being on standby in the evenings and weekends for urgent situations is requested.
Requirements
You enjoy learning new things and are confident to experiment.
You see opportunities for improvement and automation, and know how to implement them.
You have at least an MBO-4 level in an ICT-related field, or equivalent work experience
You like to work with Linux
You have knowledge of Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
You are proficient in Dutch and English
Some knowledge in the field of electrical engineering is a plus (we will teach you the rest)
