The Role

Do you have a strong understanding of the energy market and do you want to use your commercial skills to build the sustainable energy system of the future? We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the development of our large-scale (5MW+) systems. This will only work if, like us, you are convinced of the importance of a new, sustainable energy system. You are commercially skilled and creative. You know how to set up a collaboration that makes both the customer and iwell happy.

In this role, you will work with our technical experts in a project team to design and offer large-scale energy storage systems to our customers. In these projects we focus on systems from 5 to approximately 50 MW and perhaps even larger. In collaboration with the customer, we work together towards the most suitable solution in that situation. Your position is mainly focused on the commercial and contractual part of the projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing relationships and work on contracting new customers and projects

  • Work on new strategies together with your colleagues to further expand the large-scale proposition

  • Have a good understanding of the large-scale storage system market

  • Provide efficient and effective contracting for our projects in collaboration with the team and the customer

  • Something we haven't thought of yet, but that you are very good at


  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in commercial positions

  • You like to work with targets and like to sprint to achieve them

  • You are hands-on

  • You have a network within the energy transition and affinity with sustainable energy projects is an advantage

  • Experience with contracting (renewable) energy projects

  • You have an eye for detail and you are an organised person

  • You know how to turn customers into fans, proud that they work with us

  • You are a self-starter who is able to independently set goals and meet deadlines

  • You have relevant renewable energy sector experience
