As our People & Culture Specialist, you’ll play an crucial role in helping iwell scale rapidly across Europe over the next three years. Already a market leader in the Netherlands, we’ve recently expanded into Germany, and are opening offices in Belgium and the UK—with even more growth ahead. Your role will cover the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, as we work to grow and professionalize our People & Culture operations.


What you'll be doing

At iwell, integrity and care are at our core. As our People & Culture Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Head of People & Culture to create a thriving workplace. This is a broad, dynamic HR role—perfect for anyone eager to learn and grow across all areas of People & Culture. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 💼 3-6 years of experience in a broad people role (People Operations Specialist, HR Administrator, or similar).
  • ⚙️ Passion for People Operations: You know how HR processes run and are driven to make them scalable, efficient, and environmentally friendly where possible.
  • 🚀 Scale-up experience: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand how to navigate rapid growth with confidence.
  • 👩🏼‍💻 Independent & Proactive: You can own projects, collaborate when needed, and are comfortable working independently.
  • 🎨 Creative & Tech-Savvy: You’re always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to work and are comfortable with tech tools to make this happen.
  • 🇳🇱 Knowledge of Dutch employment law: A solid understanding of Dutch employment law is essential. Experience with German, Belgian, or UK regulations is a big plus.
  • 🌍 Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, with the ability to adapt your tone of voice to different audiences.

Location note: You have to be currently based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements. We can’t sponsor or relocate someone for this position. The location is Utrecht, and the role requires working from our office.
