As a People Advisor, you will play a crucial role in iwell’s rapid growth across Europe over the next three years. We are already the market leader in the Netherlands, have recently expanded to Germany and Belgium, and will be launching in the United Kingdom in May. And that’s just the beginning! You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—helping us scale and professionalise our People & Culture operations.

Sustainability in HR Processes – Develop guidelines, create templates, and optimise HR systems that are not only efficient but also environmentally conscious—at iwell, we always choose the smartest and greenest solutions.
Confident Leadership – Take on challenging projects such as employee engagement, compensation and benefits, career development, and learning & development. We embrace complexity but love simplicity—fail fast, learn fast is our motto.

No Bullshit, Just Action – Whether it’s onboarding, offboarding, or another HR challenge, you tackle it head-on and create scalable, transparent solutions that truly make an impact. We come prepared and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Sparring Partner – Act as an advisor to managers, providing practical solutions and strategic guidance for their teams. With sustainability as a core value, you help managers build lasting, positive relationships within their teams.

What You Bring:
💼 4-6 years of experience in a broad people role (People Operations Specialist, HR Administrator, or a similar position).
⚙️ Passion for People Operations – You understand HR processes and focus on making them scalable, efficient, and where possible, environmentally friendly.
🚀 Experience in a scale-up – You thrive in a fast-growing environment and navigate rapid changes with confidence.
💬 Strong advisory skills – You can analyse complex situations, such as absence management, and translate them into practical, actionable solutions for managers and teams.
👩🏼💻 Independent & Proactive – You can manage projects autonomously, collaborate when needed, and are comfortable taking initiative.
🎨 Creative & Tech-savvy – Always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to work, and comfortable using technology to make that happen.
🇳🇱 Knowledge of Dutch labour law – A solid understanding of Dutch employment legislation is essential. Experience with laws in Germany, Belgium, or the UK is a plus.
🌍 Language skills – Fluent in Dutch and English, with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.

Working Conditions:
30 days of holiday to rest and recharge, plus a three-day company trip every year.
€1,500 annual training budget – Fast-track your growth, develop new skills, and make an impact.

Travel reimbursement (whether by bike, car, or public transport).
Phone allowance of €25 per month.
Full-time role (5 days/week, 40 hours). A 4-day (32-hour) workweek is also an option.
Hybrid work – 4 days per week at our fantastic office in Utrecht, with some flexibility to work from home.
