Technical Project Manager Internship

The internship assignment

As an intern in the Operations team, you will support us in our mission to successfully deploy our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to our customers and experience first-hand what it is like to work in one of the Netherlands most dynamic and entrepreneurial scale-ups.

You will get the opportunity to drive a wide scale of projects across the Netherlands and potentially other European countries, with a strong focus on the deployment side of the operation and possible involvement in other programs when your skills and ambitions match.

This role is based out of iwell’s headquarters in Utrecht.

What You'll Do 

• Support on existing and new BESS projects, by analyzing the clients location technical aspects, financials, and customer experience.
• Support the operations team in their day-to-day tasks, by assisting in a wide range of tasks. And by identifying the right opportunities for process optimisations.
• When successful, there is even the possibility of leading a BESS project yourself.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge about the grid from BESS and infrastructure perspective.

• Evaluate internal processes and help drive further incremental improvements.

• Support the technical development, including design, tendering, and process optimisation.
  
  

• Must be a student working toward a Master’s degree in business, engineering, energy-related field or similar.

• Fluent in English and Dutch.

• Able to manage several projects at the same time.

• Interested in working in a fast paced and always changing environment.

• Excellent analytical and data-driven mind-set and skills.

• Proactive work mentality, analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented.

• Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail.

• Team oriented, at ease to share ideas and to reach out to various stakeholders.

• Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Experience with SketchUp Pro or other design software is a plus.
