Job description

About iwell
At iwell, we are committed to providing clean and affordable energy for all. We aim for cleaner air, water, and a healthier planet through a sustainable power supply. Frustrated by slow institutional progress, we've taken action to build a sustainable energy infrastructure. By using business as a force for good and integrating sustainable goals with smart battery storage solutions, we are transforming Europe’s energy landscape from centralised, fossil-fuel dependence to a local, clean, and dynamic system—one building at a time.

At iwell, we believe that the energy transition should go faster. As market leader in the Netherlands, we set the tone with smart battery systems, and we are expanding this to Germany, UK and Belgium.

Your role

As our Sales Manager, you will be one of the first members of our UK team, reporting directly into the UK Country Director. You will work closely with in-country colleagues, the International BD / expansion team, and Sales and Operations teams in HQ in the Netherlands. It is up to you and your future colleagues to shape the iwell identity in the UK!

As a Sales Manager at iwell, the focus is on driving the sales and adoption of iwell’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Energy Management System (EMS).

This role will have a strong new-business emphasis, identifying and engaging potential clients and selling the value of iwell’s custom solutions based on their unique energy challenges, and demonstrating how iwell’s software optimises energy usage and storage locally. The aim will be to build strong long-term relationships with new clients with maximum customer satisfaction.

You will have a passion for driving new sales and building sustainable partnerships. You are active at industry shows and networking events, seeking potential partners, and work closely with companies to understand their precise needs to ultimately build a robust pipeline of UK BESS opportunities.

You will need to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling propositions. You will identify new opportunities and close deals. Throughout this process, you will be supported by the wider sales functions in HQ where necessary.

You have the opportunity to build iwell in the UK. This means trial and error, finding creative solutions, and innovating continuously. Your creativity and innovative spirit are invaluable to iwell's success. Together we find out what works!
