The Role
Strategic Leadership (Long-Term & Cross-Market)
Own and develop the integrated multi-year marketing strategy for NL, DE, UK, and BE.
Ensure strategic consistency across segments (Installers, EPCs, CPOs, Transport, Agri, Logistics, etc.).
Translate long-term strategic priorities into annual country marketing plans with clear OKRs.
Protect the strategic direction while adapting to local market realities and commercial needs.
2. Brand Positioning & Commercial Marketing
Strengthen iwell’s position as the most credible, compliant, and trusted EMS/BESS partner in Europe.
Lead the creation of unified messaging frameworks, value propositions, and segment-based campaign architectures.
Elevate the quality of all marketing outputs: content, creative, digital, PR, events, and paid media.
Guard the “quality over quantity” standard across all campaigns and channels.
3. International Team Leadership
Lead the HQ marketing organisation
Provide dotted-line leadership to local marketeers in NL, DE, UK, and BE.
Create a strong feedback loop between HQ and countries to ensure alignment, consistency, and shared learning.
Build a culture of excellence, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the broader marketing team.
4. Technology, Data & AI Enablement
Oversee ownership of the marketing technology stack (HubSpot, data systems, analytics, enrichment, automation).
Ensure the CRM and demand-generation systems are scalable, clean, and future-proof.
Evaluate and implement new technologies that help the team work smarter and operate with more precision.
5. Process & Operational Excellence
Maintain and evolve a clear marketing operating rhythm: planning cycles, reporting, and campaign governance.
Ensure clarity and alignment across teams (sales, product, operations, and country leadership).
Oversee agency partnerships across markets and ensure high performance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
8–12+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in scale-ups, SaaS, or renewable/energy technology environments.
Proven ability to develop long-term strategy while operating hands-on where needed.
Experience managing international marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Depth in brand positioning, integrated campaigns, and demand generation.
Strong understanding of marketing technology, CRM systems (HubSpot), data enrichment, and AI applications.
