About iwell

At iwell, we are all about reinforcing energy security. We help European businesses become more energy independent. Because with growing regulations, extreme price volatility and rising grid issues, they just need to be resilient. So it's time to take charge and think ahead. We deliver energy management solutions that ensure businesses are always in control of their energy. Our in-house developed EMS and modular battery storage, drive profit through sustainability, making businesses future-proof.We’re a fast-growing international team of bold, talented individuals. About the role

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our portal team and help grow and maintain the myiwell platform.

myiwell is iwell’s platform for managing energy behind the meter, consisting of two parts:

  • The customer portal shows what’s happening on site, like battery status, available power, and how energy is being used or saved.

  • The monitoring portal helps iwell teams and partners operate and maintain systems reliably across all sites.

As we scale across the Netherlands and into new European markets, myiwell must scale too with it. That means more users, more sites, and more complexity. All of which must stay simple, intuitive, and fast. This role gives you the chance to shape how that happens.

You’ll work in a cross-functional team with developers, a UX designer, and a product manager. Together, we build a thoughtful, user-focused product that make energy data understandable and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain features across both the Angular front end and the C# back end

  • Build APIs and connect them to real-time and historical energy data

  • Collaborate with the team to design and deliver new functionality for both the customer and monitoring portals

  • Help scale the platform for more users, more locations, and more complexity

  • Contribute to the reliability of our platform by helping monitor and improve stability, deployments, and system performance when needed

Requirements

  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript: you know how to build responsive, maintainable user interfaces.

  • Experience with C# and ASP.NET: you’re comfortable creating APIs and back-end services.

  • Familiarity with databases like MS SQL and InfluxDB (or similar).

  • You follow modern coding practices: like version control (Git), a test-driven mindset, clean code, and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure is a plus)

  • A collaborative mindset: you enjoy working with others to solve real problems and ship quality work.

  • You live in the Netherlands, are able to work from our Utrecht office part of the week (hybrid setup) and are ready to help build something meaningful.

We care

  • 30 days yearly holiday, to rest and recharge.

  • Meaningful work contributing to a more sustainable future.

  • Office benefits like daily fresh fruit and activities.

  • An annual company holiday.

  • Access to personal development funds and career growth opportunities.
