The Role

We’re seeking a Recruitment Lead to spearhead the recruitment strategy and lead our talent acquisition efforts at iwell. This role will be pivotal in scaling high-performing teams across the Netherlands and Europe, aligning with iwell's growth targets. You will lead the full recruitment cycle, from strategic sourcing to offer management, and collaborate closely with the People team to ensure a seamless and exceptional candidate experience that reflects iwell’s mission and values.

You will be responsible for driving the recruitment strategy for a variety of roles across departments, including Tech, Operations, and Commercial. This role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to bring structure and innovation to an evolving recruitment landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Own and continuously improve the recruitment process, from role intake to offer, ensuring alignment with department needs and iwell's growth.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Employer Branding: Develop and execute bold sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-impact talent. Strengthen iwell’s employer brand by engaging with potential candidates via channels, events, and social media.

  • Standardized Processes: Design and implement scalable, streamlined recruitment processes that are adaptable to our growing needs, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

  • Referral Program Activation: Revitalize and activate our referral program by aligning it with iwell’s company culture, offering tailored incentives that motivate employees to refer top talent.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze recruitment KPIs, track candidate journeys from stage to stage, and identify bottlenecks. Use insights to refine strategies and improve efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with the Head of People and hiring managers to define clear roles, set expectations, and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.

  • Hiring Plan Creation: Develop strategic hiring plans with clear timelines and expectations to guide recruitment efforts in alignment with company goals.

  • Proactive Sourcing: Dedicate time to sourcing top talent through proactive strategies, rather than relying solely on incoming applications, particularly for specialist roles.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor, measure, and refine all recruitment efforts to ensure the highest quality hires while optimizing speed and efficiency.

  • Utilize Personal Networks: Leverage your connections within the tech scale-up and green energy sectors to source candidates who are not only skilled but also intrinsically motivated by iwell’s mission.


Requirements

  • Proven Success: Demonstrable success in high-volume recruitment, with experience hiring 60+ roles in a 6-month period in fast-paced environments.

  • Strategic and Solution-Oriented: Expertise in managing the full recruitment cycle, from strategic people planning to execution, and skilled at navigating challenges to find solutions.

  • Experience in Fast-Growth Environments: Background in scaling companies, especially in the tech or energy sectors, and experience hiring across multiple disciplines (e.g., engineering, sales, product).

  • Data-Driven: You are comfortable using data to make decisions and drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes.

  • Process Design: Ability to design scalable recruitment processes that balance structure with flexibility, especially during periods of rapid growth.

  • Referral Program Activation: Experience in activating and optimizing referral programs to drive employee engagement and talent acquisition efforts.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, ATS systems (we work with Recruitee), and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Fluent Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
